Danielle J Gearing

Danielle is an actress, producer, playwright and founder of Breakthrough Theatre. Danielle has a passion for new writing and set up Breakthrough Theatre to create fresh and provocative theatre that is thought provoking and relevant to what is going on today.

Danielle trained at Birmingham School of Acting.
Since graduating Danielle has set up her own theatre company, Breakthrough Theatre and taken to creating, developing and producing her own shows. She created and produced The Life and Death of Marilyn Monroe when it ran as part of Birmingham Fest Theatre Festival in the summer of 2017 and when it recently made its West End Debut at Leicester Square Theatre earlier this year.

She has also taken part in the 2016 Camden Fringe Festival, playing the part of Polly in ‘Oh P*ck!’ – a piece of new writing by up and coming playwright Sarah Fellows and last year made her directorial debut assistant directing the musical ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’.

Danielle has an avid interest in new work and has been apart of a number of work- shops for plays in development most recently workshopping a brand new Alice Birch play ‘BLANK’ at The National Theatre.

James Williams

James is an experienced director, producer and vocal coach who regularly works across the UK as well as being Principal of Midlands Academy of Musical Theatre in Birmingham and is currently on tour with Kerry Ellis.
